    Peer Tutoring

In collaboration with language departments, Center for Languages and Intercultural Communication (CLIC) offers regular drop-in peer tutoring sessions. Trained in best language tutoring practices, peer tutors complement your foreign language coursework and help you continue developing your foreign language skills.

Tutors are available in all languages offered by departments:

    • Chinese
    • French
    • German
    • Greek
    • Japanese

    Foreign Language Teaching Assistants

Foreign language teaching assistants are native-speaking students pursuing post-baccalaureate degrees in their home countries, often in language teaching or linguistics. The language assistants teach conversation courses, run language labs, hold office hours, and take classes. They also organize cultural events for the Â鶹´«Ã½ community, such as language tables, coffee hours, and film screenings, among others. Every year, we host four FLTAs in Arabic, German, Russian, and Spanish.

    Individual Assistance

CLIC is available to all students for individual assistance. We will work with you to help you identify strategies and techniques to support your language learning, as well as find resources and opportunities to study the language(s) and learn about culture(s) of your interest.
